A social diary with a deliberately unusual output
Vera explores how a long-lived conversational interface can help people collect memories, daily observations and personal context. Once enough material exists, a background workflow creates a fairy tale that is fictional but meaningfully informed by those memories.
The interesting engineering lies in durable memory, consent, private multi-user data, scheduled generation and delivery, and operating Codex as a constrained asynchronous worker rather than inside a web request.
